| Description | Plant said to be erect. Fruits 3-5 cm long, 1.5 cm diam., straight, little or no constriction, humps, slight beak, reticulation very shallow almost smooth, containg 3-4-2 dull red seeds. Farmer said this variety has replaced a runner-type that used to be planted here a decade ago. Current erect type is preferred because of its relative ease of harvesting by pulling up the plants by the roots. |
